Skiworld Ahrntal - the best choice in South Tyrol

The Valle di Tures e Aurina - Tauferer Ahrntal with the five ski resorts Speikboden, Klausberg, Rein in Taufers, Weißenbach and Kronplatz, is the mecca for winter sports in South Tyrol.

The Tauferer Ahrntal valley is home to three ski resorts with totally 72 kilometres of slopes, and each offers superlatives, such as the mountain railway with the largest height differential at Speikboden, the highest eight-seater gondola in South Tyrol at Klausbergs, and possibly the smartest and smallest ski resorts at Rein in Taufers and Weißenbach
The neighbouring Kronplatz with its 116 kilometres of slopes is gigantic in comparison. After all, it is the largest skiing mountain in the country. There’s something for everyone to do here.

Especially for families and kids the three ski resorts are the right place to learn skiing. There awaits perfectly prepared slopes, funparks and much more.

Ski resort Speikboden
Speikboden Bergbahnen is a snow-secure, familiarly skiing-area in the valley “Tauferer-Ahrntal”. It contains 7 cableways with a total transport performance of 12.140 persons/hour. About 80 hectare of slopes, totally 38 kilometres, has to offer enough liberty for everyone – from the summit (2.400 m altitude) to the valley (950 m altitude). Many alternations of the terrain and very wide slopes make happy beginners and professional skiers. In the summer the “Speikboden” is a fantastic hiking area.

Ski resort Klausberg
As a ski area, Klausberg offers everything you need to turn an ordinary winter holiday into a one-of-a-kind adventure. The 8-person K2 gondola lift whisks you up to Klausberg Ski Area’s perfectly groomed runs, at an elevation of 2,510 metres. The ski area’s 30 km of blue, red and black runs offer plenty of fun, at varying levels of difficulty, for people of all ages. For the little ones and families Klausberg offers special attractions, like the Klausiland with its mascot, the Alpine Coaster or the new Dino Fun-Line. Different mountain huts invite you to enjoy alpine and gourmet dishes.

Ski resort Riva di Tures-Rein in Taufers

The small, but wonderful and  family-friendly ski resort in Rein in Taufers.

Ski resort Rio Bianco-WeißenbachThe new "Family Skilift Alpinwellt Weißenbach" is a highlight for the whole family. With his lenght of 350 meters, the skilift and the two pists are ideal to learn skiing!

Ski resort Kronplatz

With 116 km of slopes and 31 modern lifts, Kronplatz (2275 m) is the mountain for sophisticated skiing and snowboarding. Its ample and sunny plateau and long ski runs all the way down to the valley in three cardinal directions are a real treat for sun lovers.
If required, Kronplatz may be equipped with artificial snow up to 100%. It offers only the highest quality skiing and snowboarding as well as a maximum level of safety on the slopes. Several different areas and Kids' Parks provide for a great deal of fun and variety for the little ones and are rounded off by the professional programmes of five local ski schools. And no less than 30 ski huts serve culinary treats from both Alpine and Mediterranean cuisines in an atmosphere of typical mountain hospitality.
Kronplatz is also connected to the Dolomiti Superski resorts network: 1,200 km of slopes at the heart of the Dolomites.
