South Tyrol's most northern village, right at the foot of the Dreiherrenspitze (3,499 metres) invites holidaymakers during the summer, as well as the winter season. The magnificent high-Alpine valley with it great hiking and cross-country possibilities was once an important smuggling and trade road to the North and the South.
Far away from the busy roads, it is a well protected treasure with lots of history, customs and a great sense of originality.
