Excursion to arrive at the high plateau of Mühlen in Taufers

Path Description:
Our comfortable walk starts in Mühlen at the church where we go south to “Schattenbergstrasse” road, which leads to a sloping path up the “Schattenberg” to the first mountain farms. After the 2nd sharp bend we find the first signpost pointing towards the High platform and here we turn off to our left. The path leads relatively steeply upwards; it is a narrow forest path. After about a half an hour walk through the spruce forest we reach the plateau which gives a stunning view onto the valley floor of Taufers.
